Label Under Construction Tussah silk, previously used on the infamous LUC cardigan, is now available in the form of a knit sweater with the same beautiful texture as its predecessor. $749, H. MA_Julius These trousers from Julius’ MA line feature a double layered front with zip fastening and pleated knees. Made of 8oz cotton denim. €495, Seven		Goti Tuscan jeweler Riccardo Goti combines old world elements with a modern touch in his pieces. Ann Demeulemeester One of the highlights of her SS11 collection, this lightweight cotton jacket has a full row of buttons running down the front, ruched sleeves and contrast lapels. £1252, LN-CC		Carol Christian Poell At a quick glance this shirt might seem basic, but upon further inspection it becomes evident that there is more to it. The “dead end” buttoning twists a classic shirt pattern to something highly unconventional, which one could only expect from Poell. 697€, Darklands Berlin

Boris Bidjan Saberi Made of extra fine cotton, this double layer knit has a unique uneven colour due the cold dyeing process it has gone through. $660, Atelier New York		Forme D’expression Made of cotton and linen, this raglan coat has an interesting slanted cut and two large pockets in front. Fall-winter 2010 deliveries have begun showing up at some of our favourite retailers, so it’s time to have a look at some standout pieces for the upcoming season, ranging from winter accessories and garments to leather goods.

New collections for the fall-winter season have begun to arrive at a steady pace, so its time to round up some of the most interesting pieces from our favourite retailers. With some great pieces ranging from outerwear to accessories, the season is looking more than promising.
 

Carol Christian Poell belt A new take on the double buckle belt Poell introduced in an earlier season. This time, the buckles are placed slightly irregularly and have a more classic shape.  €389, Darklands Berlin		Boris Bidjan Saberi boots Saberi’s first piece of footwear for this f/w season is an instant hit, beautiful moderately distressed leather with a very cool tie closure.  €983, Darklands Berlin

Label Under Construction cardigan Made from thick and extremely soft Alpaca yarn, this sleeveless knit piece is thick but lightweight, a perfect example of the epic knitwear LUC is known for. Only seven of these handmade pieces have been produced.  $1360, Atelier New York		Boris Bidjan Saberi scarf This extremely fine and soft cotton scarf from Saberi is fairly large, but its softness and lightness give it a absolute versatility. The dark silver colour has a beautiful tone.  $380, Atelier New York

m.a+ raglan cardigan A cross between a cardigan and light jacket, this raglan cut piece from Maurizio Amadei has elongated sleeves, a single button enclosure and a unique collar design.  $990, Sartorialoft		Individual Sentiments coat This hooded, dual layer coat is a signature cut from Individual Sentiments. The material is purple/grey wool and angora with a cotton lining.  $1650, Sartorialoft

Here are our picks for some interesting s/s sale items. Noteworthy and unintentional; many of the items here are ones that would work well through out the winter season as well.

Attachment jacket This light coloured blazer from Kazuyuki Kumagai’s s/s09 collection is made from paper textile, featuring a very interesting texture and a neat crumbled effect. 558€, Lazzari		Lument et Umbra airbrushed knit for this s/s season, designer Issei Fujita utilized some very interesting materials including this somewhat sheer, airbrushed cotton knit.  €225, Darklands Berlin

Label Under Construction coat With only 10 pieces ever made, this jacket is born out of vintage hemp fabric from sleeping bags, originally used by Italian military in 1950s, dyed and reconstructed to a jacket. $1560, Atelier New York		Augusta cordovan boots Augusta’s new classic. A flap cut on the back adds a new accent to the lace up boots, enabling one to wear classic looking lace up boots in many different ways. $1128, Atelier New York

Yohan Serfaty leather knit This knit sweater, made from leather yarn, is one of many proofs why the French designer is a mastermind when it comes to leather work – beautiful craftsmanship on a very unique piece. €338, Antonioli		Officine Creative zip boots A very classic and clean cut boot from Officine Creative, made from soft lined calf skin. With nice detailing and a heavy side zip, these boots are also quite easy on the wallet. $348, The Archive

Damir Doma zip hoody The sheer material on this zip up hoody results in a neat effect with the panelled construction and makes it very versatile layering piece for both summer and winter use. 328€, Darklands Berlin		Rick Owens t-shirt Rick Owens’ signature sheer tees are a classic, the light cotton works like a charm on hot summer days.
