
Cut in a curve, the Turning Pant results in the gentle twisting of
fabric around the legs when worn. "It is my name for the J-shaped
which is the name most of people give to him, but not my vision of
this cut," she explains. "For me there is the idea of movement and
détournement. I was inspired by the Dada movement when I used
this cut, and I wanted to re-appropriate this idea."
