The Business

As you might've noticed from the cover, Scoute went through some small cosmetic changes as well as a few tweaks behind the scenes. After quite a bit of brainstorming, we've decided to loosen up our monthly publishing a bit. Whether it'll be 6 or 10  issues a year or something in between will remain to be seen, but regardless, the next issue is set for the beginning of December. The slightly slower timeframe allows to focus more on each issue and thus, of course, bring you better content.

Speaking of content, I've been a big fan of Boris Bidjan Saberi ever since I saw the images of his f/w 08 collection in the beginning of the year, and even more so after seeing some of the garments earlier this fall. So naturally I was delighted to get the opportunity to interview him, and I was very pleased with how it went. Boris seemed like a laid back guy and I'm proud to say Scoute is one of the first publications to interview him properly. I also got the chance to make a highly anticipated visit to Darklands in Berlin and talk with guerilla shop-keeper Campbell McDougall. In addition, we're taking you to Sweden where Richard Lam interviewed Hannes from Trés Bien.

We have some highly interesting interviews and features in the works as well, so check back in the beginning of December. Feedback on the slightly modified format and anything else for that matter is of course welcome, so keep in touch!
