Great workout facility at Ball State. Never too crowded and enough equipment for students and faculty to easily use. As a former student, I remember the old fitness room and gym space this facility is a dramatic improvement

Staff is sometimes annoying and has no idea about weight lifting its half and half. There is some knowledgeable staff though. Most are just enforcing the rules as they have been told. But some are over the top to where you dont enjoy your workout.

They have a good amount of equipment BUT its tiny for have , students. If you enjoy waiting for frat bros to finish talking, this is your gym. Also, they do a horrible job keeping the facility clean. Theres dust surrounding every single machine.

The facilities are great. They have all the equipment you could ever want. The Fit classes are great. The teachers are knowledgeable and care about your improvement.

Good facility, but I cannot for the life of me understand why they do not open until on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. It may be a Covid precaution I am not sure. Would be an easy if they at least opened earlier on Saturday.

I think I could say that I have lived in the rec for the amount of hours I have been there. The rec brings me a sense of home for all the friends I have made in the facility. The rec is the best gym I have ever been to.

Awesome place to go if you are a student, all kinds of activities for you and your friends. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, racquetball, ping bong, gym and still tons more Even if youre not a student its only for a day pass, very worth it and highly recommended
