Very awesome place to work out I love the environment the pool the hot tub is very awesome and especially the massage chairs

Very disappointed in the gym today. They turned their music in the gym which is music I dont like up so loud I cannot even hear what I was listening to through my earbuds. If they continue to do this I will go to a different gym

Ive been a member for decades. Defined is a solid gym prior to p.m.. Sadly, though, for us, they have yet to update the San Mateo branch. Fortunatly weights are still weights however, some are poorly marked rubber plates. Many of the lockers in the mens room are broken. On the upside, the early morning staff is awesome.

I went today and swam and used the pool and the dry sauna. The sauna was nice but its not as hot as the Sandia gym. The pool is relaxing. The whirpool was like sitting in a bathtub the jets barely work not much pressure. There is no steam anymore and its important to have because the sauna gets crowded.

Not the regular Define Fitness I go to, but is ok as a substitute gym. Interior of the gym is very small, cramped for space. Also looks very rundown as you walk around the location. Parking is also a major problem at this location.

Sam was engaging and remarkably pleasant to associate with. She is knowledgeable, thorough and lively. Staff members by far are engaging and friendly here and the environment seems sanitary and well maintained.

The gym itself is fine, the cancellation process is a pain. They will try and fleece you for every penny with made up fees and cancellation problems and paperwork. Youre going to end up having to block them on your credit card.
